Last week in Single Survival, seniors heard from both local entrepreneurs and college representatives as they continued exploring life after high school. Travis and Kristen Rhoades shared how an unexpected opportunity led them from teaching and tech to becoming franchise owners of 16 Scooters Coffee locations across the Sioux Falls area, offering insights into the challenges and rewards of running a business. Later in the week, Augustana University admissions counselors and students visited to talk about academic programs, scholarships, and campus life, giving seniors a glimpse into what college at Augie has to offer.



Last week, 195 sundaes were handed out to students in grades 10–12 who made the Spring 2025 Honor Roll. Thank you to the Renaissance Committee for recognizing student achievement and to Dairy Queen for donating the ice cream. Keep up the hard work!



It’s time for the 11AAA Football Playoff Semifinals as Jefferson takes on Sioux Falls Lincoln under the lights TONIGHT, November 7 at 6 p.m. at Howard Wood Field. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults. No passes accepted. Jefferson fans will sit on the visitor side.

Mrs. Sturm's Interior Design students have been crafting Haunted Houses to showcase housing styles and exterior design terms—and today they revealed their eerie creations in class presentations!
Thursday night, JHS Student Council and JAG teamed up to host a Trunk-R-Treat. Thanks to all the clubs and community members who joined in for a fun and spooky night of candy, costumes, and Cavalier spirit!
