Our lost and found is starting to overflow! We have jackets, sweatshirts, gloves, boots, hats, water bottles, etc. The last day to look for lost items is Thursday, December 19. Anything not claimed will be donated on Friday, December 20, at 8:00 am. Lost and found is located inside the school, so you will have to check-in at the office to look for lost items.

Monday was National Special Education Day; and although we are late, we couldn’t go without acknowledging our AMAZING Special Education Team! Their dedication and drive do not go unnoticed. We are grateful to have a SPED Team that not only works together, but also shares the same goals to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You are appreciated SPED Team!

Before Thanksgiving break, classroom 206 students learned how to make butter! They poured the correct amount of ingredients into jars. Then students took turns shaking the jars until the butter was completely done. It was a lot of work shaking the jars, but they had so much fun! Once the butter was done, they got to enjoy it on some crackers and bread. Yum!

It's almost time for the Annual Project Warm-Up!

Classroom 402 dove into an exciting hands-on science activity to explore how the human finger works! First, students built their own models using strings to represent tendons - showing how pulling on the string moves human bones and causes movement. Next, they took their learning to the next level by dissecting a real chicken foot to observe how tendons and bones work together in a living organism. This engaging activity helped students understand the amazing design of our bodies, while sparking curiosity and teamwork!

Buddy classrooms 204 and 504 learned about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They listened to the read aloud, “Balloons Over Broadway: The Inspiring True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade” by Melissa Sweet. The students worked together to color and decorate their own parade floats out of balloons!

Classroom 501 earned a "Hat Day" for hitting their goal for the Booster Fundraiser. Way to go, 501!
